The first-ever Revival experience is set to take place just minutes outside of downtown Austin at Camp Lucy, an elegant ranch-style resort located in the rolling hills of the Texas Hill Country in Dripping Springs, Texas. Revival at Camp Lucy will offer attendees an up-close-and-personal music experience featuring a carefully selected and dynamic lineup of music performers, all of whom were handpicked by local Austin musician and event curator Matthew Logan Vasquez, widely known as the co-founder and frontman for the critically-acclaimed indie rock group Delta Spirit. Currently wrapping up production on his latest album, Light’n Up, which is set to be released this February before Revival at Camp Lucy, Vasquez will also perform at the event.
The inaugural event will feature a very special solo performance from the Denver-based singer/songwriter Nathaniel Rateliff, best known for his work with Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, in addition to playing host to a variety of Texas talent such as the Americana-rocker Shakey Graves, who continues to perform in support of his fifth studio album, Can’t Wake Up, released last May; Grammy Award-winning songstress Patty Griffin, who is set to release her newest, self-titled album this March; the Texas supergroup Glorietta, comprised of several Revival acts in Matthew Logan Vasquez, Noah Gundersen, and Jason Robert Blum, as well as beloved local musicians Kelsey Wilson and Adrian Quesada; and indie-pop darlings Wild Child, whose accolades include being named twice as the “Best Indie Band” by the Austin Chronicle Music Awards. Revival’s goal is to offer both attendees and the music artists themselves the experience of an unforgettable and transformative music-driven event in a private, unique setting. Revival ultimately looks to improve the on-site experience at music events by offering white-glove guest services and amenities alongside world-class music performances in a location devoid of the traditional barriers and fencing that separate artists and talent from general attendees found at most music festivals. In addition, Revival will provide immersive on-site activities, gourmet local cuisine, and more, all of which will be experienced by both attendees and performing artists in personal and intimate settings.
Throughout the event, which includes daytime and overnight activities, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with artists, influencers, and other fellow music lovers in an inclusive environment, something that is rarely seen in the current live event and festival landscape. There will be ample opportunities for organic interaction between musician and guests as many of the performers are lodging overnight at Camp Lucy.
